    This scenic area features a diverse variety of fish including Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Steelhead, Dolly Varden Char, as well as five species of Salmon. There are many capable and experienced guides and outfitters willing to assist you on your fishing expedition.

    If you prefer to head out on your own, feel free to explore one of several lakes surrounding Whistler. Adventurous anglers can also travel out by helicopter, floatplane, or 4x4 to take advantage of the remote mountain lakes and rivers in the surrounding coastal mountains of Whistler. Take note, fishing in British Columbia requires a license, which can be purchased either online, or at a sporting goods outfitter. Be sure to check local restrictions on sport fish catches.
